KNS Technologies exists to do more than solve problems — we exist to reveal the
possibilities our clients haven’t seen yet. As an IT consulting firm, we deliver
custom software development and digital transformation services across
industry, government, and the not-for-profit sector, but the deeper mandate has
never changed: help organizations move from where they are to where they are
capable of being.
That mandate was written into KNS long before it had a name. In 2009, three
newly minted MBA graduates from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith
School of Business came together with something rarer than capital — over 50
combined years of hands-on consulting experience spanning EPC program
delivery, enterprise data engineering, and product management. They set out to
build the alternative to consulting that optimizes for the invoice instead of the
outcome.

From day one, the founders anchored KNS to two non-negotiable pillars — pillars that
